RYA Yachtmaster Certification

The RYA Yachtmaster certification is a professional credential designed for students who have already achieved a professional-level status in their sailing career. It is essential to those in the international yachting community who are looking for a certification that is recognized worldwide. If you are looking for a certification that will allow you to captain vessels of up to 200 tons and is recognized by over 20 countries, than this is the course for you! There are many levels of Yachtmaster certification, varying in intensity and depth. The Yachtmaster courses offered by Confident Captain are available in both Coastal and Offshore certificates, and can be taken in 3 steps concluding with the RYA Administered Exam, which can be taken at the conclusion of the Theory and Practical classes or at another time. All are priced and offered independently and in succession. Yachtmaster Theory and Practical Classes must be completed before the examination.

Although many students choose to have their Yachtmaster Certification commercially endorsed, this course is also for the accomplished recreational boater who is looking to improve his/her skills and have those skills recognized by the Royal Yachting Association, the UK based organization that oversees the Yachtmaster Program. With both professional mariners and recreational yachtsmen attending this course, the class is conducted in a professional manner that will meet the needs of all parties.
