Captain Eddie Persichetti
Having grown up in Southern New Jersey, Captain Eddie has been on the water since his early teens. After completing his BA at La Salle University in 2002, Captain Eddie found New England irresistible and permanently relocated to the South Coast. Having worked commercial vessels for two years, Captain Eddie moved onto Mega Yachts in which he was able to cruise over 70,000 nautical miles in thirteen years behind his own helm. These miles have taken him to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Windward & Leeward Islands, Canada, Mexico and Mediterranean. Captain Eddie takes yachting and maritime etiquette beyond the realm of a pastime. From captaining vessels up to 150’, Captain Eddie simply has a passion for the sea. From a career in yachting, Captain Eddie holds his USCG 1600-ton Open Oceans Master license, Able-Seaman Certification, STCW 95 Certification, Towing Endorsement, Celestial Navigation, ARPA, Advanced Radar, and GMDSS Certifications. Yachting is a lifestyle of professionalism and Captain Eddie shares that professionalism while instructing at Confident Captain Ocean Pros.
While not in the classroom, Captain Eddie still free lances on Mega Yachts and is heavily involved within the yachting community. Captain Eddie is also able to share his love for the sea aboard his restored 1929 32’ Blanchard Lake Union Dreamboat “Latitude” in which he and his wife charter to the public out of Warren, Rhode Island.

Captain Michael Reardon
Senior USCG Instructor/ Senior “At the Helm” Instructor
Capt. Michael Reardon learned the ropes growing up on waters of Cape Cod. He brings a varied experience aboard commercial, charter and marine research vessels to the classroom of Confident Captain.
